What Does the PLC Technician II Program Cost?
George Brown College offers a range of registration options to make it more convenient and affordable for students to register into the PLC Technician II program.
Register now and get started in the program for $440
Our unique pay-as-you-learn registration option allows for easy installment-type payments. With this option you enrol in the program for $440, which pays for the entire program web-based curriculum including PLCLogix 5000, the PLC lab simulation software, all 19 modules in the program, technical and tutorial support for Module 1 and access to the Module 1 final exam. After you complete the first module, you simply register into additional modules as you are ready to study them. The tuition fee for each module is $70, and you are under no obligation to purchase any additional modules. The 19 modules can be registered into individually or in groups. The total cost to complete the program (including web-based materials) is $1,700. You may take as long as you like to complete all modules in the program.

Register into the complete program and you will have full access to all modules and learning resources in the program, immediately. Full registration includes all tuition fees and learning material fees for the program and represents the entire program cost. It also includes the laboratory simulation software program and access to all learning resources for the 19 modules as well web-based supplemental resources, tutorial and technical support and online testing.
Purchase the curriculum material on its own for $370
If you would like to purchase the program web-based material on its own and preview it before registering into the program, it is available at a cost of $370. If you later decide to register into the program, you still have the option to pay the tuition fees for one, some or all modules and earn a Certificate of Completion.
Purchase the PLC Technician II textbook for $190
The textbook, Principles of Advanced PLCs, which provides content coverage complementary to the PLC Technician II curriculum, is available for an additional $190. Please note, this textbook is not a required reference, rather it is offered for those individuals who might find value in this additional print based resource. |
Refund Policy
In order to receive a refund, a written request to withdraw from the program is required. The withdraw letter should be received by the department not later or within 10 business days from the date the student received the web-based program material. There will be a $20 College Administration Charge per module. There is no refund on the web-based curriculum material for the program.
The PLC Technician II Certificate program is eligible for Better Jobs Ontario (formerly Second Career) funding.
